Accueil à l'arrivée. Transfert de l'aéroport à Rabat par Casablanca (arrêt en cours route à la célèbre mosquée Hassan II sur la corniche de Casa en bord d'océan). Découverte de la Casbah des Oudayas, le quartier ancien de Rabat qui domine l'océan à l'embouchure de la rivière. Installation à l'hôtel à Rabat. Dîner et nuit à l'hôtel.
Visit themodern city of Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Guided tour to the mausoleum and the residential quarters. Lunch in Rabat. Drive to FES, through the fields and hills of the North of Morocco. Stay in “Ryads” of the Medina or in hotels. Reception of welcome. Dinner and night.
In the morning, a guided visit to the most beautiful Medina of Morocco, its hundreds of small alleys, traders’ stalls, arts and crafts.
A real voyage back in time.
Lunch in the Medina. Visit to Batha Museum and in the afternoon a visit to the Souks (local traditional markets) before joining the “Ryad” or Hotel.
Dinner and night.
We shall drive through a picturesque road to discover the holly city of MOULAY IDRISS and the Roman city of Volubilis. Pay a visit to the antique site of Volubilis. Lunch at a panoramic terrace which outlooks the Romans Ruins. We arrive at Meknès in the afternoon before joining FES in the evening.
Dinner and night in FES.
A journey devoted to explore the Middle Atlas Mountains, their magnificent wild landscapes and the forest of cedar trees. Lunch. Optional: ramble and hike in the woods. Return to FES in the evening. Dinner and night in FES in “Ryad” or hotel.
A second morning devoted to the discovery of the Medina (you need it to become imbued with the unique atmosphere of this typical Medina)
Free afternoon to profit at your convenience from the charms of the Medina, to stroll in the modern city, go to the “Hammam” (Moroccan traditional public bath).
Optional: a half-day to take the waters at Moulay Yacoub modern thermal spa.
Dinner and night in FES.
Explore the region of “Fès-el-Bali, and the first foothills of the Rif Mountains on the shores of lake “Al Wahda”, one of the greatest artificial lakes in Africa. You will be charmed by the splendid panoramas of the area, not yet known and visited by tourists.
Lunch while driving.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport for a departure we hope will be a temporary farewell
